Report urges greater aid effectiveness + reduced use of emotive language in campaigns
Auditors
Valid International have said that, in 2002 and 2003, British
non-governmental organisations overstated the severity of a famine affecting southern Africa and should look at ways to improve the
effectiveness of the aid they provide to those in need, and of reducing the use of
emotive language in fund-raising campaigns.
