I highly recommend a
BBC World Service programme which highlights some of
the impacts of poor access to water in Bangladesh + Calcutta...
In rural
Bangladesh well-water is sometimes
contaminated with arsenic, while in
Calcutta many children have to miss school in order to
queue for water every day.
A
second programme looks at how the
Masaai share their water supply with cattle + what happens when a familiy's
water supply dries up in the summer...
