I'd love
Ford to expand on how "
An SUV can be as environmentally friendly as a field of corn"?
Amongst other things "design guru" J. Mays' rather bizarre statement requires us to assume that;
(1) a field of corn is environmentally friendly,
(2) that unnecessarily large vehicles can ever be good for the environment +
(3) that designers know/care anything about their product's environmental impact...
More seriously,
BMW are putting a bit more effort than most into giving more environmentally responsible vehicles some much needed cache by making
hydrogen powered versions of their "prestige" cars.
In a crazy mixed-up world
hooked on size, horse power and speed as indirect means of communicating one another's status it can only be hoped that other vehicle companies will start mimicing BMW's forward-thinking and "sexy" use of hydrogen...
